Rev Adam Pawley

Adam has been our Rector since 2013.
He loves to help people grow in their faith and understanding of who Jesus is, know the help of the Holy Spirit in their lives, and make church accessible to all generations.
Adam is married to Rachel, a former church children's worker, and they have four children. Originally from Leicester, Adam is a Leicester City Football Club supporter and was delighted in 2016 when they won the Premier League!
Prior to joining us in Hope and Penyffordd, Adam served his curacy in Newtown in 2010-13 and trained in St Michael's College, Llandaff in 2007-10 where he gained a 2.1 in his BA (Hons) Religious and Theological Studies at Cardiff University.
Prior to his ordination training, Adam worked as a maths teacher in Darland School, Rossett (2005-07), having trained at Chester College (2004-05). He spent a year as an intern at St Michael's Church, Aberystwyth, the largest Anglican church in the Church In Wales (2003-04) where he explored his calling to the ordained ministry (and met Rachel), and prior to this he worked as a statistical researcher in the National Assembly for Wales (2001-02) as part of his maths degree, also at Cardiff University (1999-03).
To contact Adam, please email rector@hopeparishchurch.org or call 01978 760439 or 07875 502861.
