Thinking of getting married?
I, N , take you, N, to be my husband/wife,
to have and to hold
from this day forward;
for better, for worse,
for richer, for poorer,
in sickness and in health,
to love and to cherish,
as long as we both shall live,
according to the will
and purpose of God.
In the presence of God I make this vow.
to have and to hold
from this day forward;
for better, for worse,
for richer, for poorer,
in sickness and in health,
to love and to cherish,
as long as we both shall live,
according to the will
and purpose of God.
In the presence of God I make this vow.

Our Churches
The Church of Ss Cynfarch & Cyngar (better known as “Hope Village Church”) is by all means our most popular venue. It is an attractive Grade 1 listed building, kept in excellent condition that includes a decorative interior, an excellent organ and six church bells. The church can host up to 240 guests.
Emmanuel Church in Penyffordd is arguably our hidden secret for weddings. Being a 1959 build not everyone assumes it is licensed for weddings, but it is! Plus in October 2011 an extension and full refurbishment was completed meaning it now has a very clean, fresh and modern feel. It is a smaller, more intimate setting that can seat up to 60 guests.
You are welcome to view both our churches. Please do join us for Sunday worship. Additionally the Village Church has an open doors policy and is open every day Monday to Saturday from dawn to dusk, so feel free to pull up in the car park and pop in at a time convenient to you. We also host a coffee afternoon every Thursday from 12:30pm-3pm in the church hall. You will be very welcome to join us. Emmanuel Church, Penyffordd also hosts a coffee morning every Tuesday from 10:30am-11:30am. You are very welcome to join us here too. Alternatively Emmanuel Church can be viewed upon request. Please contact our Mrs Jane Kirkham on 01978 761458 who will gladly show you around.

In the presence of God, and before this congregation,
N and N have given their consent and made their
marriage vows to one another.
They have declared their marriage by the joining of hands
and by the giving and receiving of rings.
I proclaim that they are therefore husband and wife.
Those whom God has joined together
let no one put asunder.
